Andrea Brumer, B. Sc.
Functional Aging & Corrective Exercise Specialist
My own experience with fitness began as part of a weight loss plan. I enjoyed working out in a gym setting as well as taking classes. As an occupational therapist, I soon started helping out other gym members with suggestions on how to move better. I adapted exercises to make them more efficient for those with physical challenges.
This AHA moment became the impetus to combine my therapeutic experience with my passion for fitness! Within six months I was a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor and eager to learn more.
I am now a corrective exercise specialist (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and a Functional Aging Specialist (Functional Aging Institute), working in private, small group and large group settings.
I could not be happier to share my passion with you!
